COVID has been dragging Berlin down for nearly two years. Yet there are still people out there reluctant to get the vaccination. The BVG wanted to change this.

To demonstrate the urgency, we changed our corporate design. Under the motto “Yellow fades to black”, we created a fully black-and-white campaign with the call to action: “Get vaccinated. And give Berlin its colour back.” In the vibrant world of advertising, this truly stood out.

But we wanted to do more – by going head to head with the doubters. In selected print media outlets, on radio stations and especially on social media. There was a lot of discussion and the ads alone were shared 900 times. We also put a BVG vaccination bus on the road and vaccinated 3,000 people over four days.
